The short version: you get a license to use JuicyType, everything you make with it is yours, and the money side runs through Paddle. The longer version is below, in plain words. Last updated 29 September 2026.
JuicyType is made and sold by On Point Publishing Systems LLC (“we”). These terms are between you and us. By installing JuicyType, starting a trial or buying a license you agree to them.
A license lets one person use JuicyType on up to two computers they use themselves. A Team plan is one license per seat; each seat is one person. You may not share a key, lend it, sell it, or use it on more computers than it allows. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer or redistribute the plugin, or work around its licensing.
A subscription license lasts while the subscription is paid. A lifetime license, such as the one beta testers received, lasts as long as we publish JuicyType and includes its future versions. Lifetime licenses are personal and cannot be transferred.
Everything you create with JuicyType belongs to you. We claim no rights over your artwork, your text or your files, and we never see them: they stay on your computer. See what JuicyType sends for exactly what does leave it.
Purchases are handled by Paddle, our merchant of record. Paddle takes the payment, issues the invoice, and collects any sales tax or VAT. Paddle’s buyer terms apply to the transaction itself. Subscriptions renew automatically, monthly or yearly, until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account; you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. Refunds are described in our refund policy.
The trial gives you the full plugin for 14 days on one computer, without a card. One trial per computer. When it ends, JuicyType stops applying effects until a license is activated; your documents are unaffected.
JuicyType runs in Adobe Illustrator 2025 and 2026 on macOS and Windows. We keep it working with new versions of Illustrator as they appear, but Adobe changes Illustrator on its own schedule and we cannot promise that every future version will be supported on the day it ships. Updates are included with every license.
If you joined the beta, your lifetime license comes with the arrangement described on the privacy page: we watch how you use JuicyType more closely than we watch anyone else, joined to your name. You can leave that arrangement by writing to us; the license stays yours.
JuicyType is provided as it is. We work hard to make it reliable, but we cannot promise it will be free of bugs or suit every purpose. Save your work often, as you would with any tool. To the extent the law allows, our liability to you for anything arising from JuicyType is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights that consumer law gives you and that cannot be waived.
You can stop using JuicyType at any time; cancelling a subscription ends it at the period’s close. We can end a license if it is used against these terms, for example a key shared publicly, and we will tell you why.
If we change these terms we will update the date at the top and, for anything that matters, email licence holders. Using JuicyType after a change means you accept it.
