What's new in JuicyType 0.9.5.15

JuicyType 0.9.5.15 moves Round corners onto the letters themselves, makes Cracked work cleanly on logos, and fixes a batch of problems found by testers on Mac and Windows.

Face

• A new Round corners control in the Face view rounds the letters' own corners before every effect, so 3D, Strokes, Sticker and the rest all build on the rounded letters. It works on logos too.
• Applying or removing Halftone or Pattern Slice no longer switches Face fill off.
• Black text no longer turns invisible after Pattern Slice is removed and Halftone applied.

Wobble

• Rounded corner has moved to the Face view, and Edge texture is always on, so its checkbox is gone. Documents that used Wobble's rounded corner open with the same look.

Cracked

• On logos and shapes, the art now cracks apart into shards that keep their colors, with thin seams, instead of leaving a blank area in the middle.

Panel

• On a frame with no effects, the [+] icon in the top bar is lit while the effects grid shows.
• Colors › By color › Edit › Done now changes the art.
• In Split Face, a typed Gap that crosses zero updates the Gap fill and Fold rows at once.
• A hex color that can't be read is put back instead of staying in the field looking accepted.
• Cubes › Apply per cube › Slice restarts the pattern in every block.
• Shape's "Split on space if two words" tooltip now says what it does.

Flavors and snapshots

• Flavor and snapshot pictures now keep their true colors on Intel Macs.
• Wide effects such as Drip, Speed, Cracked and Glitch are no longer refused when saving a flavor or snapshot.
• A snapshot that Illustrator saved as an empty placeholder PDF is removed, and the panel says why.

Windows

• Add stroke and add extrusion now show the new rows.
• Party's Random popups, Cracked's Impact point, Cubes' Apply per cube, Sticker band gaps and the Split Face angle now work as on the Mac.
• Tab moves between value boxes, and entries that aren't numbers are refused.
• A second click on ⋯ closes its menu.

To update, close Illustrator, run the new installer, then open Illustrator again. Your license carries over.
