Every JuicyType update, newest first. To update, close Illustrator, run the latest installer from the download page, then open Illustrator again.
JuicyType 1.0.1 is the first 1.0 release. It adds a new Round corners setting for your letters and improves Raise by color, Cracked and Cubes. It also brings a large round of polish and fixes to the Windows panel.
JuicyType 0.9.5.15 moves Round corners onto the letters themselves, makes Cracked work cleanly on logos, and fixes a batch of problems found by testers on Mac and Windows.
JuicyType 0.9.5.14 brings a new color chooser, effects on shapes and groups, Draft and Final render modes, and a Windows panel that now matches the Mac. It also includes a long list of fixes from beta testers.
JuicyType 0.9.5.11 adds Flatten — one command that turns a live effect into finished artwork — gives the panel a tighter top row and a gallery that arrives full of ready-made flavors. On Windows, a warning box that could hide behind Illustrator now comes to the front.
JuicyType 0.9.5.10 is mostly about speed and color: a new Draft mode redraws heavy artwork much faster while you work, and a new Colors view puts every color a piece paints in one list you can edit from. It also brings a Mask text mode for Knock out, per-cube control in Cubes, a first Windows build, and a long list of fixes.
JuicyType 0.9.5.9 is a big step up from 0.9.3: a new Draft mode keeps heavy artwork responsive, the Colors view lets you edit every color in your design from one place, and Knockout gains Mask text. There are also new options for 3D, Cubes, Aura and more, plus a long list of fixes.
JuicyType 0.9.5.8 adds Speedview with Draft and Final render modes, a rebuilt Colors view, and Knockout and Mask text. It also brings new controls across 3D, Cubes, Aura and more, plus a long list of fixes since 0.9.3.
JuicyType 0.9.5.7 rounds off the 0.9.5 beta series with a Draft render mode for fast previews, a Windows build, a reworked Colors view, and a long list of fixes reported by beta testers. Every effect now records the version it was applied with, and a tile shows a chip when the art was made with an older one.
JuicyType 0.9.5.6 is a big beta update. It adds a new Colors view for editing every color in your artwork and Draft and Final render modes for faster work. It also brings 3D, Cubes and Aura improvements, and fixes a bug where panel changes could be lost when you saved.
This release is about speed and color: a new Draft mode redraws heavy artwork noticeably faster while you work, and the panel gains a By color view that gathers every color your effects paint into one list you can edit in place. JuicyType also runs on Windows for the first time, and a long list of fixes follows.
JuicyType 0.9.5.4 is a beta update, and the headline is Speedview: a Draft render mode with its own eye in the panel header that makes the slow effects noticeably faster. It also brings a rebuilt Colors view that lists every color your effects paint so you can change any of them from one place, and the first JuicyType for Windows.
JuicyType 0.9.5.3 is mostly about the panel: Settings now opens in the panel body, there's a first-launch welcome and a redrawn tour, and the applied strip reads more clearly. The stroke face control also moves to where it belongs, and a couple of display glitches are gone.
JuicyType 0.9.5.1 is mostly about color: a new view that lists every color your applied effects paint, live preview while you mix a new one, and rows that finally say which color they control. Windows gets license activation, Aura and Wobble gain new shaping controls, and a render that drags on now looks after itself.
